PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE II: CANNABIS PRODUCTS WE TRIED IN CALIFORNIA LAST WEEK

With a packed schedule between NCIA CannaVest in San Jose, and the Family Office Club’s Private Investor Summit and Cannabis Drinks Expo in San Francisco, the team assembled at three conferences in two different cities in California last week and had Golden State cannabis products on the mind.  

We naturally spent ample down time investigating various cannabis dispensaries and the consumer-facing goods available in robust, thriving adult-use cannabis market. Those from more robust cannabis markets across the US may bristle at the commonality of some of these, but remember here on the East Coast things are just picking up. And there’s nothing the cannabis curious love more than the introduction to some killer products.

So this week we’re putting a spotlight on a selection of products and brands we sampled with a sense of solemn duty (ahem). Call it understanding cannabis product knowledge for the greater good. Or just call it another day at the office.

But admit it: You’re curious.

WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO KNOW: “We grow our with only organic fertilizer. We never use synthetic pesticides. We pay our farmers a proper living wage. We use natural materials from seed to sale.”

WHAT WE WANT YOU TO KNOW: They’re not kidding on the natural materials. From the packaging to the wraps ensconcing their Creative Blend sativa (which we bought a handsome five-pack of for the road), to the small envelop of wooden matches and a strike-pad on its side nestled in a compartment at the top of the case once it was slid open, the company indeed puts its money where its. And it’s design prowess has not been overlooked by detail-oriented admirers.

A LITTLE SOMETHING MORE: Besides hitting high water marks as an business – at one point the company proclaimed revenues rose a thousand percent in 12 months while speaking with Newsweek about their campaign to offer recent parolees a job in the cannabis industry – the company has built a reputation as the go-to for consistent, organic, top-tier smokes.  Also for those not able to access any of the 350 shops their products are found in around California, there’s a entire CBD shop for your perusal as well.
