Colin is the President and Founder of Developing the Next Leaders. As a national speaker, he has spent extensive time helping business owners solve for their three most critical factors: finding a better balance, creating efficiency in their life and business, and reaching for goals they never thought possible.
He was previously Head of Sales for RS Investments from 2008 to 2016, prior to that Colin was with The Hartford Insurance and Financial Services Group for 13+ years. Spending over 21 years in the field, he has a keen eye for what works in real life and what it takes to succeed for the long term. After extensive work and success in the financial services industry, he launched Developing the Next Leaders, a 501(c)(3) that, “Helps our military, inactive or retired, make a successful entrance into the financial services industry.
Colin resides in Westborough, Massachusetts with his wife Traci and their three children, Colin, Mollie and William. He is an avid triathlete and completes numerous single day endurance events each year. Colin regularly attends retreats and workshops that focus on wellness and healthy living.
Michael Scott is an entrepreneur, family man, and martial artist with a passion for life. Michael’s core values are Family, Integrity, Helping Others, Leadership, Loyalty. After over a decade of wealth management advice and becoming one of the youngest top 1% ranked advisors at Ameriprise, Michael began expanding as an entrepreneur. He put his first deal together with the executives of Ameriprise Financial in a seven-figure acquisition that became the companies first external practice acquisition. After that first experience with entrepreneurism, Michael knew he found his calling. Fast forward a handful of years and Michael is now the co-owner of BAM Partners LLC an entrepreneurial holding company of 6 businesses and growing. Michael’s unique ability is to strategically lead and develop entrepreneurs toward their own values based excellence. On a personal note, Michael is an avid martial artist and loves to teach and train multiple disciplines such as MMA, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai and Taekwondo
Mike is the Co-founder of Cannapreneur Partners and partner at BAM Partners.
With an extensive background in multiple industries, Mike is an entrepreneur by nature and has a true passion for helping others. Mikes journey started in the fitness industry as he became one of the youngest Master Trainers at Boston Sports Clubs history. In 2012, he launched his own facility and since then has expanded into business development roles in the automotive, financial services and cannabis space.
Mike resides in Southborough, Massachusetts with his fiancé Erin. He is a fitness and health enthusiast with a specific passion for CrossFit. Outside of fitness, Mike’s biggest hobby is golf and spending time with his fiancé.
Tania has extensive administration, operations, customer service and management experience. Her 20 year background is in financial services where she has worked for Fortune 500 companies providing custodial bank services, insurance and group benefits. Tania’s focus is on administration, operations and Human resources management.
Tania holds a Master’s in Business Management from Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts. She also has a Bachelors in Business Administration with a Finance and Marketing concentration from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida.
Tania resides in Westborough, Massachusetts with her husband and two kids. She enjoys traveling, playing tennis, staying active and volunteering in the community.
Dan McCarthy is a seasoned journalist and editor based in Boston covering everything from cannabis to politics to pop culture for a variety of local and national newspapers and magazines from The Boston Globe to Esquire Magazine, The Daily Beast, Leafly News, Boston Magazine, VICE, Pacific Standard, DigBoston, BINJ, Crain’s of New York, and many others. Before joining Cannapreneur Partners, Dan launched the Boston edition of Sensi Magazine, a national cannabis and city lifestyle print and online publication, and served as Managing Editor during his tenure. Additionally, Dan has a rich background in print and digital media sales/branding from years of corporate publishing work in New York City, and previously served as an adjunct lecturer at the Northeastern Institute of Cannabis in Natick MA, a former cannabis industry vocational education and certification institution.
